Welcome to Son Harbor
Son Harbor is the overall name for Children’s Ministry —-serving birth through 5th grade. We desire to provide opportunities for children to come to know and experience God’s love. Through Son Harbor, we offer exciting activities, teach God’s Word, develop friendships, and serve through community outreach projects.
All teachers and volunteers in Son Harbor are carefully screened to provide a safe and secure place for your child to grow.
Tugboats (Birth to Pre-K)
Our nursery cares for the newest additions to our church family while their parents attend the worship service. We are committed to your child’s safety, fun, and growth, so that each child experiences the unstoppable love of God.
Sailers (Kindergarten to 5th grade)
Kids take part in the regular morning service until they are dismissed to the Son Harbor classroom, where Bible stories, games, and activities are provided to allow your child to know God more deeply.
How can I be Involved?
If you’re a teen or adult who loves kids, we would be thrilled to have you on our children’s ministry team! There are countless ways to get involved, and we will provide you with training so you can serve with confidence. To join our Teaching Team simply fill out the application and return it to the church office.
Baby Dedication
Congratulations on the birth of your baby! What an exciting time in your life and also a tremendous responsibility that God has entrusted you with! We encourage you to invite God into your parenting process. As a church, we want to do all that we can to support and be a resource for you.
You have made an important decision to dedicate your child. While many parents choose to baptize their children, at Anchor Point, we choose to dedicate them to God and save baptism for a later time, after they have made a personal decision for Christ.
Scheduling a dedication
If you are serious about raising your child with a knowledge of Jesus Christ we invite you to dedicate him/her at Anchor Point Church.
You don't need to be a member of Anchor Point to dedicate your child but we do request that Anchor Point is your church of choice.
